Emergency Rent Assistance

As some of you know, I have spent much of the second half of this year on medical leave while I am in intensive therapy to address my post-trumatic stress disorder.  My medical leave is unpaid, so I have not recieved a regular paycheck since July. I paid into a short-term disability insurance plan while I was working, but when I went to file a claim, they intentionally bungled the paperwork and then denied my claim. 

Now my rent has come due, and I do not have enough money to pay it. 

I have asked my online community for help several times recently, and I have been humbled and filled with gratitude each time. With true reluctance and regret, I must ask again.

Please help me pay my rent. 

I am asking for $500 because my rent is ~$1025, depending on the water bill each month, and I have ~$700 to my name right now. If I can get just ~$300 I can afford to write my landlord a check, but then I will have literally no money at all, which is why I'm asking for a little more than that.
