Love Makes The Difference

Hi, I’m Shileese Hampton and October 29, 2013 my life changed drastically.  That is the day my daughter Elisshia was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL at the age of 9.  Devastated and heartbroken that my baby had to face this challenge I had my moment; but I gathered myself to be strong for her and she ended up being the strong one for me.  Along with my family we made up in our minds that we were going to beat this ugly disease.  We activated our faith, and relied on God to get us through test, and He’s done just that!       So many of you have encouraged us during this journey and I am so grateful for each of you.  Since you’ve trekked with us through this fight, I am inviting you to share with us as we celebrate this milestone.  We’ve planned an epic event, a summer of traveling for Elisshia and we’ve made a commitment to support other families who have children affected by Leukemia through Elisshia’s Love Makes The Difference Foundation.  We believe that with your support we can raise $25,000.        In a few short days on April 30th, ‘Pooka’ as we affectionately call her will complete her LAST chemotherapy treatment and will be CANCER FREE!!!       To express how proud I am of her strength, bravery, and resilience, we are going celebrate the culmination of this journey.  Join our movement, Got Mustard #faith shirts will be available for purchase soon.  Help us spread the word, and assist our effort to aid families who don’t have the tremendous support system we are blessed with.          Whatever contribution you can make, we are appreciative.  Thank you for your continued love and support       Sincerely,   Shileese Hampton   The Mother of  a Survivor
