Hey Everyone!
I am trying to raise money for a Global Missions program called Youth With a Mission(YWAM for short)
For several months now, ever since I heard of YWAM, I wanted to do a six months Discipleship Training School, (DTS). After a lot of thought and a lot of prayer I applied for a Discipleship Training School in Queenstown, New Zealand which starts October 11, 2015. This DTS is focused on the Extreme pursuits each of us must take to make God known.
There are so many people in remote places who are completely unaware of such a powerful love in this world and who are unaware of their own value. The door to the extreme DTS opened in order to take me to these remote locations the gospel needs to be preached and thirsty hearts are crying out for Jesus’ love.
Although the exact location of the outreach phase won’t be decided until mid October I know that I will be used in a place where I am needed to make a difference, and after the lecture phase I will have all the necessary tools and knowledge to spread God’s glorious story.
I would like to offer you the opportunity to partner with me in this epic journey. I have gotten to the place I am today because of a lot of prayer and because of wonderful people like you supporting me. I absolutely cannot do this alone. I need your prayers! As much as this will be a great experience, I also know it will be physically, emotionally and spiritually stretching at times. Your thoughts and prayers will be a huge blessing.
In addition to needing prayer support, I am also in need of financial support. The DTS is going to cost approximately $9,ooo depending on our outreach location, and there are several other factors such as airfare and health insurance.
Please don’t feel obligated to give, but if you can please prayerfully consider if God is leading you to do so. I realize that by making my need known I am extending this amazing opportunity to those who would like to serve on missions but because of various reasons have been unable. I feel so blessed and thankful to be in a place in my life where the Lord can use me and allow me to thrive in new and amazing ways.
