Melbourne Christmas in a Pack 2018

Christmas in a Pack was started in 2010 by family and friends who wanted to bring Christmas cheer to those who are homeless and in need by giving them a new backpack filled with basic essentials items such as sweatshirt, sweatpants, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, flashlight, packaged food, batteries,water bottle, $5.00 food gift cards toiletries, blankets and sleeping bags. We have a Christmas party in the park where we grill burgers and hot dogs and serve chips and cookies and beverages. We decorate a Christmas tree, play Christmas music and they visit with Santa and his elves. We hand out filled backpacks , blankets and sleeping bags to more than 300 men and women each year. Christmas can be a very sad and lonely time for those who are homeless and less fortunate. Please help us ease the pain for our friends who are suffering.
