Team JoAnna - UP Family Fights Together!!

 
Since being diagnosed with IDC, (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma) breast cancer in September of 2018, one of our Union Pacific Family members, JoAnna Draper has been and will continue to valiantly battle through surgery, 16 rounds of chemo-therapy and radiation treatments through most of the rest of 2019. While always trying to stay positive, JoAnna , a single mom of 3 and grandma of 1, has kept working at UP as a fitness for duty nurse through the entire process. As of Tuesday, February 12th, JoAnna, an employee since June 2018, was released from Union Pacific as a result of corporate restructuring. As a result, her company insurance will run out at the end of February 2019 and the only option for coverage for her expensive and needed treatments is COBRA insurance which is nearly cost prohibitive. At Union Pacific, we're family. When one of us is knocked down we all feel it and we come together to help. We believe in miracles! So now we're coming together for JoAnna during this difficult time.
