Diezel
Donation protected
Friends and family. My best friend and loyal companion Diezel needed emergency surgery after I found him lethargic and unresponsive yesterday. I rushed him to his vet immediately. Upon arriving to the vet Diezel collapsed in the front lobby. He was immediately taken in and tended to by the vet and staff. After test and X-rays I was told that Diezel was bleeding internally and his stomach was filled with blood. He needed immediate surgery or he would not survive. I had to make a decision to either let him go or try and save him. Upon more test it determined that his spleen needed to be removed as well as a mass that had ruptured. I couldn't let him go without giving him a chance. Not knowing if he would survive the surgery was frightening. The vet explained to me that he was critical and my decision had to be made immediately. The surgery was successful and he made it through the night without any complications. He will be under vet care for the next few days. I met with the vet today and prognosis look good for survival. Diezel has been my pride and joy since I rescued him.
If you are able to make a donation to his care fund I will be so grateful. Thank you.
