<div>On February 25th around 2:50pm, my stepbrother Luke was t-boned by a Lexus. Luke was thrown 40+ feet and into a brick wall. Due to the severity of this accident, he has suffered multiple debilitating injuries and has had to undergo multiple surgeries to repair his broken hands, pelvis, both femurs, forearm, foot, thoracic fracture, urethra injury, pneumothorax, acute blood loss as well as damage to this teeth and mouth. Luke will not be able to walk for a minimum of three months. This incident happened recently so it’s too soon to legally go after the person that so carelessly caused this accident. Luke is currently in the hospital and they are trying to illegally discharge him (parents are trying to fight this). He needs to be transferred to a skilled facility but unfortunately the facility is requiring 50% of the payment up front before admission. Prior to this incident, Luke had a great job at Lowe’s and he is well liked by his peers. He has always had a passion for jiu-jitsu and drawing. Luke was very active but this horrible incident has put a pause on everything he enjoys most. He has severe ptsd and is in agony, daily.  Anything helps, we appreciate this so much as his stay in an acute skilled facility will be a minimum of 3-6 months. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
