Support fund for Officer Sabir

On November 17, MARTA Police Officer Sabir was seriously injured off duty when his motorcycle in a funeral procession was hit by a subject who failed to stop at a stop sign while having an open container of alcohol. Officer Sabir was thrown off the motorcycle and was left injured. The subject fled on foot and proceeded to fight with resident's in the area, soon after he was captured by police.
Officer Sabir suffered a serious broken right femur which required surgery, a shattered knee and a low back injury. Officer Sabir will have a lengthy recovery. Officer Sabir's greatest love is his family; wife and 4 beautiful children.
Officer Sabir is a compassionate , professional and caring person who enjoys helping people at all times.
