Hi Everyone!
For Spring Break this year (March 7-13), I will be going on Beach Reach through my university, UMHB, which is a mission trip where I will get the opportunity to share the Gospel with college students on spring break at South Padre Island.
Beach Reach gives free van rides to beachgoers at South Padre Island, offers free pancake breakfasts for people on the island, and organizes a trash clean-up on the beach. Through these hands-on events, I will have the opportunity to have conversations about the Lord with springbreakers in order to spread God's love and make disciples. I went on this trip last spring break and it was so life-changing! It really opened my eyes to the issues that so many of my peers struggle with, and with my team, we were able to encourage and pray with so many people who desperately needed it! This ministry is so hands-on and interactive and I know it makes a difference because I felt God's presence so heavily in a place that is crawling with sin.
The cost of the trip is $565, plus money for a few meals and souvenirs. I have already raised some money from selling ornaments, but I still have a while to go until I am fully funded! Donations of any size are appreciated! If you are unable to donate, please keep me in your prayers that God would provide me with courage, strength, and endurance as I go on this mission.
