CASA Brazilian Restaurant Employee Relief Fund

Almost 22 years ago, CASA opened its doors in one of the most charming corners of the West Village in Manhattan. We fought hard and built back after 9/11, we endured unrealistic rental increases, the financial downturn of 2008 and have survived all other obstacles the food and hospitality industry is known for. But, to have to close our doors within a 2 day notice and lay off our lovely staff, many of them part of the CASA family for 10, 14 even 18 years, has definitely been the worst challenge of all.
In a sincere effort to help each of my workers, I am reaching out to you and our community to help provide them with some peace of mind and assure them that their basic needs such as rent, health insurance and daily food will be met.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for all the support and praise  you have demonstrated through your beautiful reviews online and for the patronage you have continuously been giving me all these years. Any donation is appreciated tiny or big and will be given to each of those amazing human beings that tried to make you feel at home every time you came in to dine with us at CASA.  Please help if you can.

We hope to see you in person soon for some deserved caipirinhas and yummy cheese bread!
