Andrea Laing Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On the morning of November 16th, 2015, Andrea was headed to work and was struck by a MAX train at Elmonica Station. She was severely injured.

Andrea, age 23, who we affectionately know as Amy, is expected to survive but has a long recovery in front of her.  We have gotten to know Amy through her time working with us at Kitchen Kaboodle. She is someone who we will do all we can to support, and also seek your support to help her and her family recover from this life changing accident.

Amy is currently being treated at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. She has lost her leg and is facing a number of complicating injuries. In addition to helping defray some of the mounting medical costs we are raising funds in hopes of helping her family travel from their home in Canada to be with her as soon as possible.

Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated, even if it is just sharing this story with others. We hope to update you with more information on Amy's condition as we find out more. Amy has a long, hard road ahead of her.  With your assitance we can make it a little easier. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and thank you for your support.
