Help A Father Get Back to His Kids

My brother, Sueton (25), is the father of 3 children, 2 six year old boys and an 8 year old girl. My brother has been in and out of detention facilities and prisons since he was 9 years old. Many of his birthdays and holidays were spent inside of a cage. At just 17, following the advice of his public defender, Sueton signed a plea deal in exchange for less time that left him with two strikes. After completing his sentence in 2017, much of which was served in solitary confinement, he left with prison in bad condition physically due to a botched abdominal surgery and mentally due to abuses he suffered while inside. On top of this, he missed out on many of his children's most important milestones. For the past 3 years, he has been on his best behavior, rebuilding his relationship with his kids, working when he could and helping my mom maintain the household. 

Now, on May 5, 2020, just a few months before he would've completed his parole, he has been arrested again and the police are charging him with crimes they allege he committed in 2017. The evidence in this case is seriously lacking.

As of now, my brother is fighting for his life. My family and I fear that if he is left in the hands of another public defender, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. I have been in contact with an attorney who is willing to take on his case for a discounted price of $10,000 dollars with at least $8,000.
Anybody that knows my brother, knows that he is a genuinely kind hearted individual. He does not deserve to spend the rest of his life inside of a cage. With the help of the community, we can make sure that this father, son and brother can return to his family.
