<div>Es ist geplant, auf Flächen der Gemarkung Dirmstein innerhalb der Verbandsgemeinde Leiningerland, im Landkreis Bad Dürkheim im Süden von Rheinland-Pfalz einen gigantischen Windpark mit 17 Windenergieanlagen (WEA) zu errichten. Diese Anlagen werden eine Nabenhöhe von 179 m haben. Bei einem Rotordurchmesser von 175 m wird die Gesamthöhe der Anlagen etwa 266 m betragen.

<div>Im Vergleich, der Speyerer Dom hat eine Höhe von 71,20m, der Kölner Dom 157,22m und der Eiffelturm 330m.
</div>
<div>Das jetzige Landschaftsbild wird durch diese Anlagen auf Dauer zerstört. Die Anlagen rücken zum Teil bis auf 600m an bestehende Wohngebäude heran.
</div>
<div>Um das zu verhindern, haben wir eine Bürgerinitiative gegründet.
</div>
<div>Der Kampf gegen diesen Windpark wird aber hauptsächlich juristisch ausgefochten. Bisher haben wir schon etwa 6000 € Anwaltskosten aufgebracht. Wir müssen aber davon ausgehen, dass wir noch mindestens 15000 € zusätzlich benötigen werden.
