Patrick was recently diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the larynx. SCC is a type of cancer that occurs as a result of keratinization of the epidermal cells and has the potential to metastasize to other regions of the body. He will likely need a feeding tube and recovery after his radiation and chemotherapy treatments will take a long time.
Pat intends to fight this with everything he's got, but HE NEEDS OUR HELP!
We all know that Pat is an extremely hard worker and that he loves to help others; he is in perpetual motion! However, the first challenge is that his doctor insists that he not work, that he rest (now that is hard work for a go-getter like Pat!), and minimally maintain his weight (also not easy for our "Skinny" friend!).
The fall and winter seasons are very busy for Pat, frequently working over 8 hours per day, 6-7 days per week to keep his customers yards looking fabulous. . In addition to medical expenses, Pat will be facing financial hardship from missing out on his busiest seasons!
Your donations will help Pat get the rest he needs to heal and fight, and lessen some of the stress he is facing at this difficult time.
