The Nelson Family

Hello, my name is Katie MacDonald and I’m fundraising on behalf of the Nelson family. I am a very close friend of Jenna and Adam Nelson and also Luna’s Godmother. I will be accepting the donations on behalf of the Nelson’s and e-transferring all funds to them directly to their personal account. 

Friends and family of the Nelson’s as many of you may know, Jenna and Adam’s oldest daughter Luna has been recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. Luna was admitted to the paediatric unit at Kingston Health Science Center (KGH) on Tuesday, October 10th following the diagnosis and she remains admitted there today. Despite having a promising outcome, Luna has a long and difficult journey ahead to remission. Anyone that knows Luna knows she is one of the strongest kids out there and there’s no doubt in our minds she’ll beat this!

We have started this GoFund me to support Jenna and Adam as they navigate the coming weeks to months ahead. We would love to take away all other stressors in their life so they can focus on supporting sweet Luna to recovery, as well as her little sister Brynn at home. If you’re able to support in any way to assist with hospital parking costs, food, travel costs back and forth, etc, it would be greatly appreciated!
