Help bring Tommy home

Donation protected
I am Sherry's mom and loved Tommy dearly. I'd like to tell their story. (The Wedding). Sherry had never had the kind of love that Tommy was giving her-she glowed. Tommy's eyes filled with tears during the ceremony. They were so grateful for what they had found in each other. ( The cancer). A few months into their marriage the fight for life brought many struggles including financial. Sherry took all the weekend on calls and extra work loads to carry the family financially. She worked from his hospital room and when she had to leave she would drive the two hours back and forth and slept every night in his room. She was always by his side. Tommy got out of the hospital and worked so hard to provide. He carried such a burden for brining this in their lives. He would take chemo one day and be working the next. Sherry was so driven to take care of him. They were a perfect match. They were both very private and never asked family or friends for help. (July 28, 2017). The end of chemo - health and hopes for the future. ( The adventure as they called it). Together with new jobs and so many plans for the future they headed to California. They had promised each other 50 years together and Sherry had a goal to get him a house on a lake when he retired so he could fish. Sherry had to go ahead while Tommy finished chemo. She found a perfect little house in the desert and got it all ready for Tommy. He would have loved it. Tommy followed three months later and the day after he arrived he was hospitalized. Three weeks and they have reached this place. So unexpected and still unreal. (The homecoming). Sherry is bringing Tommy home to celebrate his life with all those who love him. Sherry and the boys have no funds to do this. The financial struggles have been devastating. To be able to keep things going and get back she needs help. This is very hard for her to be in this position. A go fund page was suggested. Cody, Tyler and Sherry talked it over and agreed to it. They have been sustained by everyone's prayers. Your wonderful comments have kept her and the boys blessed. The three of them shared his love and strengthened each other over the past few days. Sherry is crushed as are the boys. God has given strength, blessings and gratitude in their hearts. There will come a time of healing. I wanted friends and family to know the path they have walked .
