Help Stephanie with MS Treatments
About 1 .5 years ago I went to the doctor with what I thought was a migraine, unfortunately, it turned into much more than I could have ever expected. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. After a year of multiple hospital stays , vision loss, and an inability to walk on most days, I thought things had finally stabilized. Unfortunately, things have now started to go down hill and the physicians here have ran out of treatment options. I have been told to try some alternative treatment options and some different physicians. I have found some physicians that are willing to try some alternative and other treatments but they are not in this state. I have a nine year old daughter that my husband and I prayed very hard to conceive and I feel like a total failure as a mother. I can not have my daughter end up pushing me around in a wheelchair, so I have to try this alternative treatment. I am going to have to move all the way across country with my daughter to get these treatments. Unfortunately do to my illness and the fact that we have chosen to home school our daughter, our income has taken a substantial hit. So in order to receive these treatments I have to make sure that I can support her while we are there as well as pay for the treatment and living expenses. This is my last resort and I am trying this route in order to secure funding to pay for our lodging and pay for the treatments that are not covered by insurance . Like many in this country, our insurance is substandard and will not cover an out of state physician or this type of treatment .I am asking for help in securing the funds. Right now I am living in complete agony each day with pain and what little vision and mobility I have left is failing by the day and nothing else is working. I am asking for help ...which is very much out of my character and my husbands comfort zone, but we have no alternative choice. But if you can’t pledge anything, we ask for your prayers, especially for my daughter because this is a lot for her to deal with at such a young age. I will always look to God for my healing and remember the scripture “ Don’t worry about anything ,But instead , Pray for everything." (Philippians 4:6). Thanks in advance!!!!!
