Brynlee Jackson's Heart

Brynlee Jade Jackson was born to Exavyer and Jennie Jackson on September 24, 2017. Her due date was November 16, 2017. Brynlee weighed 3 lbs 7 oz when she was born and stayed in the hospital until she reached 4 pounds. On October 27, 2017, Brynlee's parents received news that no parent wants to hear, that she has Tetralogy of Fallot and needed open heart surgery. Because of this, Brynlee's lungs are now breathing at 94% and the surgery will be performed when she is breathing at 87%. This surgery is often performed on babies at least 6 months old who weigh 12 lbs or over, but Brynlee will very likely not be at that age or weight when the surgery is performed. Jennie, Brynlee's mom, is staying home from work with her daughter to give her the best care possible and to make sure that Brynlee is eating every chance that she gets so that she will gain more weight for her surgery. Exavyer is working at Cheaha Cheer and Tumble during this time and will also miss some work due to doctor's appointments and the upcoming surgery. On top of medical bills for sweet Brynlee's surgery, Exavyer and Jennie will also be missing out on a lot of income as Jennie stays home to take care of Brynlee and brings her back and forth to the doctor two times per week.
