The UW Women's Lacrosse Team needs your help to cover the cost of the season!
Over the course of the season, us Huskies have put in blood, sweat, and tears to leave everything on the field. We have gone through the season with 5 wins and 0 losses, and are on track to head to the North West Women's Lacrosse League's Regional tournament!
As 2016 division champions, our team has the opportunity to continue to represent the NWWLL and complete amongst other teams in our league to hopefully secure the regional title, and then hopefully, to compete amongst other league champions from across the country for the coveted national title!
Since lacrosse is a club sport at the University of Washington our team receives little to no funding from the school. Currently registered as a 501(c)(3) our team relies on fundraising and donations to pay for expenses throughout the season, such as travel, hotels, ref fees, and league dues.
Our team needs your help! We estimate a total cost of $7,000 to cover the travel costs and team expenses for 20 players. To cover team travel expenses such as airfare, rental vans, and hotels, along with USL participation fees our club is asking for help to keep our dreams alive, and make it come true!
