Jose "Joe Butler" Saulog is a loving father of 5 beautiful children (Eja Lyn - 15, Ethan Bryce - 12, Emy Len - 9, Eyan Kyle - 7, and Ema Bleu - 2), and husband of 13 years to Christine.
On May 23rd, 2017 Joe went to the ER for labored breathing. Over the past several months, since October 2016, he had been in and out of the ER and seeing multiple specialists, yielding NO conclusive results. This time around in the ER, Joe had pneumonia and they decided to run a series of tests: for the fluid that was extracted from his lungs and for a lump that formed on the side of his neck.
After days of testing and waiting over the Memorial Day weekend, the results came back and were completely devastating.
The lump in his neck was indeed cancer, and several days later, pathology came back positive for cancer in the fluid in his lungs as well. The Cancer had spread/ metastasis to his lungs.
Joe is the sole provider for his family and is unable to return to work for at least 6-months or until his treatment is successful. Christine recently lost her mother in December and is still grieving their family's great loss.
Please help us love on this beautiful family. We are raising money to help with medical costs and everything in between during this most difficult time. Every dollar WILL make a difference.
