Getting Phoenix Healthy
Donation protected
Everyone knows that we have been going through a lot with Phoenix. She had to have an emergency c section to have her puppies. then about 6 weeks later she had a massive infection in her abdomen and her uterus,so we had to have emergency surgery to try and fix that. We had a couple of vet checks and they thought she was improving with the help of lots of antibiotics. then last night she started having head shakes ( almost like a woodpecker). are normal Vet was swamped and couldn't help us with her until this morning, so we took her to the emergency vet clinic in Springfield. they did blood work on her and discovered that her kidneys were failing. they hope that getting her rehydrated will help improve the way her kidneys are looking. they say that there's still hope that they'll come back, but if she doesn't pee in the next day or so they say that will probably have to put her down. Now she is at the regular vet for today and probably over night to see if they can re start her kidneys. Because they haven't been working her body is being poisoned by the things the kidneys usually filter out. Since she came out of Lady sue she has been my baby. And I just can't imagine not bringing her home from this. I know that I have no right to ask and that none of you have any obligation to help but we are becoming overwhelmed with how much this is costing. So far we have paid about $1,200. And that we know that it will keep adding up. So far all of the money from this last litter has gone into this and like all of you we have the usual bills to pay. I absolutely hate asking for money but I'm desperate at this point. Again I am not expecting anything but I have to ask. All of you have already given us more then we could have ever asked for by giving our babies amazing homes but anything would be appreciated
