Gone too soon...Carol Samp

I lost my best friend this week...Carol and I met in 1986 when I moved to Chicago.  I was there when she met Allen playing darts and I was the first person to learn Christine Maria was on the way.  (She made me promise not to tell Allen).  I was honored to be named Jessica's godmother.  I watched the kids grow up, worked with Carol for years.  I enjoyed watching all of the new friends she made when she became a part of the Border Terrier world.  Carol was the friend that you could go months without speaking to and then when you got together it was like no time had passed.  It was devastating to hear when she was diagnosed in April 2014.  Carol never let you kinow when she was struggling and was always there when you needed anything.  Her strength through the loss of Christine Maria  was inspirational.   Now the family needs our help.   In lieu of flowers any donations will be helpful as they face the funeral expenses.
