When it rains it pours- Just nearly a month after losing her beloved Terry unexpectedly, Christy was involved in a horrific car accident.
On the morning of Saturday, September 1 Christy was driving to work when a distracted teenager who was texting came into her lane hitting her car, causing it to spin and hit the guardrail. After an hour of trying, the paramedics were finally able to cut her out of the car.
Christy is in the trauma center at Innova Fairfax. She has many injuries including a fractured back, dislocated left hip, broken pelvis, crushed right hip joint, 3 broken ribs, lacerated eye lid, and horrendous damage to her legs.
Christy faces a very long recovery ahead of her. Please help if you are able, every penny counts.
