Dear Friends
Today, we look to you to help us rebuild Utuado, one of the most effected municipalities of Puerto Rico.
Utuado is a mountainous town located in La Cordillera central. As such, it is made up of barrios that have nestled in very high elevations in this mountain. The inhabitants of these barrios are usually the last to receive aid during any catastrophes.
Hurricane Maria ruthlessely destroyed all of the infrastructure in Utuado along with humble homes, too weak to withstand the high winds of the storm.
Our focus is on Utuado given that the government's resources will most likely focus on the Metroplitan Areas first. As such, we want to help secure coverage for all of the underserved communities that lack basic resources.
There are two ways you can help support the cause via the missionary group, El Rey Te Mando A Llamar:
1. Donate money through FundMe to help us reach our monetary goal of $16,000
2. Donate Items to Casa de Dios (a church)
Church Address: 206 New Main Street, Yonkers New York, 10701
* The church will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-9:30pm, and Sundays from 11:00am - 5:00pm.
Items to donate:
Cases of Water, batteries, flashlight, lanterns (battery operated) canned foods/fruits, cereal, canned or boxed milk, pasta, baby food, non-perishable snacks, medication for children and adults (Tylenol or Advil), first aid kits, toiletries (tooth paste, tooth brushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc...), diapers (including adults), baby wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, candles, matches, bug repellant, towels, feminine products, garbage bags
The money raised will be used to secure a container to ship all of the items collected to a church in Utuado, the week of November 20th, in time for Thanksgiving.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in someone's life. My family, friends and I will be beyond grateful for any contribution that will help bring our humble countryside back to life. It will take time, but united anything is possible.

Hoy esperamos contar con ustedes para que nos ayuden a reconstruir a Utuado, uno de los municipios mas afectados en Puerto Rico, por lo cual es mas dificil llegar hasta el, para brindar ayuda.
El Huracán María despiadadamente destruyó la infraestructura en Utuado junto con las casas humildes, que eran muy débiles para resistir los fuertes vientos del huracán.
Nuestro enfoque es en Utuado dado que es muy probable que el gobierno priorizará los recursos en las áreas metros primero. Y como tal, nosotros queremos asegurar de que haya cobertura para todos aquellos que están en necesidad de recursos básicos.
Hay dos formas en que usted puede ayudar al grupo misionero, El Rey Te Mando a Llamar:
1. Donar dinero a través de FundMe para alcanzar nuestra meta de $16,000.

*La iglesia estará abierta Martes y Jueves de 6:00-9:30pm, Domingos de 11:00am-5:00pm
Artículos para donar:
Cajas de agua, baterías, flashlights, linternas, comida de lata, cereal, leche de lata/caja, pasta, comida de bebe, medicación para niños y adultos (Tylenol y Advil), First Aid Kit, pasta y cepillo de diente, champú, acondicionador, jabón, pañales de niños y adultos, toallitas para bebes, papel higiénico, papel toalla, velas, fósforos, repelente de insectos, toallas, productos femeninos, bolsas de basura
El dinero recaudado será usado para asegurar un contenedor para enviar todo los artículos donados a una iglesia en Utuado para la semana del 20 de Noviembre, la semana de Acción de Gracias.
Cualquier donación, no importa el tamaño, cambiara la vida de alguien. Mi familia, amigos, y yo estaremos eternamente agradecidos por cualquier contribución que ayudará a reconstruir a Utuado. Se tomará tiempo, pero unidos, cualquier cosa es posible.
