Rice Family

Late last night, Bubba (Keith Rice II) was driving his sister home from an away football game when they were in an automobile accident. Both sustained injuries requiring emergency and hospital care. Bubba had internal injuries and needed surgery and blood. Nicole sustained some scrapes and bumps and hurt her leg. This family has been through the ringer in the past few months as their father/husband walked out on them. Shay had been laid off due to Covid and Bubba has been the only one working. They also have no insurance and little income. Shay just started a new job a few days ago and had to take off so she could be at the hospital with her kids. Nicole is a senior this year. She plans to graduate and become a counselor. This was the only vehicle the family had so on top of medical needs, they are now in need of a vehicle. A few month back before dad/husband left they were working on converting a metal building in a barnominium. They moved in and were working on it as they could. Shay and the kids have been left living in the unfinished building and need help to turn this building into a home. I have known this family for about 6-7 yrs. Shay was an employee of mine. She stuck with me through thick and thin and was one of my hardest working and most dependable employees. She not only is a former employee, but I also call her a friend.
