My Journey
I was diagnosed in December 2016 with stage 4 UTERUS CANCER and started chemo the first week of January 2017.
I went to Baptist Hospital every 21 day for 8 hours. In September 2017 I got a petscan and prayed for my cancer to be gone, but in December 2017 I got bloated again, I knew exactly what that meant.
The Monster was back I got chemo for 3 days in the hospital, connected to chemicals 24 hours a day.
Again, I prayed that it was the end of treatments. May 2017 petscan was cleaned so I thought for a while I had my life back, so we went to Argentina to visit my family and felt great. We went to Duke University June 2018 Doctors told us I was cleared of cancer.
We decided to take a trip to Italy since I was doing great, however, five days into our vacation I started feeling bloated again. We flew from Rome to Baptist Hospital on July 25, 2018 I knew the diagnosis since I have been there before.
The Monster came back for the 3rd time. The journey is going to be much harder now, part of me feels like giving up but then I realized I have too many people that love me and I love, so giving up it is not an option. As a last resource we are traveling every 2 weeks to Huston for a trial treatment and this is very costly.
The reason for me sharing my story is so that my friends and family can help me get through this one more time by donating whatever they can in order for me to travel and get another chance to live one more second, minute, day, week, or year. Thank you very much in advance.
