<div>In just a few weeks, a group of extraordinary young musicians from Utah will step onto one of the most important stages in America.

</div>

<div>On <strong>June 30, 2026</strong>, the award-winning <strong>Crescent Super Band</strong> has been invited to headline a featured evening performance on the <strong>Main Stage of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. </strong>during what is expected to be the <strong>largest Independence Day celebration in American history</strong>—the <strong>America250 Celebration </strong>commemorating of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

<div>This is not a typical student performance.

<div>The Crescent Super Band is one of the <strong>most decorated youth ensembles in the world</strong>, earning more than 200 national music awards—including 50+ DownBeat Awards. They have performed on prestigious stages including <strong>Carnegie Hall</strong>, <strong>Jazz at Lincoln Center</strong>, and many of the <strong>world's biggest festivals</strong>.

<div>The band's 25+ year resume includes performances with scores of Grammy-winners including <strong>Huey Lewis</strong>, <strong>Branford Marsalis</strong>, <strong>Kenny Loggins</strong>, <strong>Victor Wooten</strong>, <strong>Esperanza Spalding</strong>, and <strong>Gordon Goodwin</strong>, as well as members of some of the biggest acts of all time including <strong>Maroon 5</strong>, <strong>The Killers</strong>, <strong>Toto</strong>, <strong>Journey</strong>, <strong>Post Malone</strong>, <strong>Dave Matthews Band</strong>, <strong>AC/DC</strong>, and many more.

<div>Following a recent performance attended by <strong>National Endowment for the Arts </strong>Chair Mary Anne Carter, the ensemble was invited to represent Utah as part of a national America250 Celebration produced by the <strong>Eden Arts and Immersive Media Festival</strong>.

<div>For these young musicians, this is more than a concert.

<div>It is a chance to represent Utah on a national stage during a <strong>once-in-a-generation moment</strong> in American history.

<div>The Sound Support Foundation is now racing to raise the $150,000 needed to support student participation in the <em>America250 National Landmark Series</em>.

<div>We believe they have earned this opportunity. The band has been putting in countless hours of rehearsal and practice. In fact, last week, <strong>Earth, Wind &amp; Fire</strong> Musical Director and keyboardist, <strong>Myron McKinley </strong>spent multiple days working directly with the Crescent Super Band as they prepared for their <em>America250 National Landmark Series</em> performances.
