<div>We are attempting to raise funds to help with expenses related to the tragic death of Isidro Garcia, a beloved father, husband, son and friend.

<div>These funds will be used to help with the expense of getting his mother and sisters from Mexico to the USA to attend his funeral and to pay his final expenses. If we can raise enough to cover these and have some left over to start a college fund for his children that would be even better.

<div>Yesterday, 10/27/2021, Isidro was shot and killed outside his home in Kansas City, Kansas as he arrived for a quick lunch.  An intruder met him as he arrived and shot him several times, stole his vehicle and left him to die in his own driveway. This random act of violence has taken one of the most optimistic, unselfish and happy go lucky people we have ever known from this world in a way that can only be described as heartbreaking and unfathomable.

<div>Isidro was a family man, business leader and entrepreneur, often juggling multiple jobs to make sure that his family had every opportunity to grow and prosper. He has worked for Advance Auto Parts for 21 years as of this week and has always been a beacon of sunshine in the eyes of his team members and his customers.  Isidro leaves behind a family that is struggling to understand how this type of indiscriminate and unimaginable deed can even occur, much less how it has and will change the course of their lives forever.
