Get Team Georgia to the World Games!

Ten kids and two adults have earned the opportunity to compete as Team Georgia for the United States Martial Arts Team at the World Games in September in Richmond, CA.  They are currently training very hard for the competition, doing a daily workout and adhering to a training diet, and are now working to raise money to get there.



The United States Martial Arts Team is competing at the World Games, which is an event sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee.  This is as close as these kids can get to taking their sport to the Olympics!

The trip is very expensive, between $2,500 and $3,500 per person, and that is a huge expense for these kids.  The members of Team Georgia will fly to Seattle, Washingtion, where they will stay and train with the entire USMA Team prior to the competition.  They will then travel with the team to Richmond, Canada, where they will spend several days competing at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

They've got the heart, and now they need the support!  Every small amount helps these kids and adults get to their goal of representing this GREAT COUNTRY at the World Martial Arts Games in Richmond, Canada September 3-7, 2014!
