That's how many people in Tanzania haven't heard the gospel.
The man in the picture is Sway V. Shamy. Sway lives in Tanzania, working with Youth With A Mission to bring the gospel to his surrounding neighbors.
Sway and his family and fellow missionaries are hoping to raise $6,000 to $8,000 to purchase and maintain a used car to help with their ministry. They are looking for a vehicle that can handle driving over rough roads and are hoping for a little extra for any repairs that may need to be done and for gas to get them to their destinations. They need this car to last a looooong time!
With this car, Sway will be able to take the gospel to far-off villages, reaching more people with the good news of Jesus. His hope is to use this car to provide transportation for church programs and for different ministry in the several villages he and his team minister in, doing door-to-door evangelism and church ministry. They reach out to the local kids, as well, providing opportunities to share the gospel and programs to help their community.
