Helping Thomas!

Hi everyone,

We are fundraising for our beloved Thomas. He was in a severe and dreadful motorcycle accident last 3rd July which left him fighting for his life.

He has been in hospital for the last 6 months and he’s waiting to be transferred to a rehabilitation centre. Thomas originally from Novara, Italy, has been living for the past 12 years in Galway city, he was a loyal West United player and worker in a well known restaurant called Mona Lisa down the Westend in Galway. If his body will react positively he will only need some more plastic surgeries to his limbs, otherwise he will have to face some more orthopaedic surgeries in order to avoid losing his ability to walk. Which is at this day still an unfortunate possibility.

Thomas will not be able to walk properly in future but if rehabilitation gives the right results, with a help of a stick, he will be able to walk again.

Unfortunately he will be out of work for a indefinite period of time, he will need special equipment, physiotherapists and expensive hospital bills.
