USA Knights 2018 Video Project

The USA Knights went to the International Medieval Combat World Championships in Scone, Scotland. This was the last time the original organization to go to these world championships fielded a full team, as the leadership split the following year and only fielded a partial team. The event has been postponed since then due to the COVID pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine. We want to tell the story of this penultimate year of glory.

Full-contact medieval armored combat is the toughest and fastest-growing sport in the world today, and the USA team was one of the top challengers for the title in 2018! Zorikh Lequidre, wh the help of Brad Blackmon and others, combined their talents and experience to create a video documentary of the team's journey to glory that will bring all the excitement and intensity home! It will be the next best thing to being there!

Zorikh Lequidre (AKA "Captain Zorikh") fought with the team in its first three years and produced the first two documentaries of the team at the world championships. Brad Blackmon fought on the team in 2018 and brought his award-winning, professional video production experience with him. Together this brings a real insider's perspective on what it is like to be with the team on this journey. This video will give unprecedented depth to the subject giving the public a new appreciation for this sport that we love!

The video will be available from the producers, through Amazon.com and other public sales venues, and intends to be listed on IMDB.

Zorikh is editing the footage, with the final product being released as a four-disk set (one disk for each day of the competition) released in four successive months, beginning in October 2022.

The funds raised are being used for airfare, hotel costs, food, batteries, memory chips, and the other expenses of production, video editing time, and duplication and distribution of the final product.
