**(12-19-2017) Quick update: The family was given seven days to evacuate their home or lose their children. This page was made with the intent to provide immediate assistance in rent so that they do not face losing their children. And by the will of Allah swt we have reached our goal and raised enough to provide rent for the family for a few months. Alhamdu’li’Allah. We are also receiving phone calls with concerns about their utilities and food. We’ve had many requests to keep this page open for those that want to help further than rent. We are raising funds for a family in desperate need. Please read their story below and help with anything you can. A brother is currently unable to work and provide for his family because of his current health conditions. The family recently went through an unfortunate event where they lost everything they had. The father, his wife and two very young children ( a 2 year old and a 4 month old) are living in a cramped studio without electricity and other necessities. The sherrifs department was notified and visited the family. They have deemed their living conditions as unsafe for the children and have notified the department of childrens & families. They have about a week to change their living conditions before they face losing their young children!! We would like to eventually find a permanent solution for the father.. But for now we are asking for everyones help in getting this family into a safe home for the children. We would like to raise enough funds for rent and basic utilities for a few months for them until the father is doing better and able to support the family again.
