US Yoshukai Karate Honbu Dojo

This year will mark the US Yoshukai Karate Honbu Dojo's 20th year in our very own building.  This building has made many things possible for our association; namely the freedom to host workouts, testings, tournaments, and parties without any scheduling conflicts or restrictions.  For 40 years Soke Yuki Koda had hoped to purchase land and build his own Karate Dojo.  He was never able to achieve this dream in his lifetime.  However, in his memory and with the help of many people, his son, Soshu David Koda was able to work towards this dream.  It has not been an easy road, but the US Yoshukai Karate Association and Honbu Dojo has made the journey under the leadership of Soshu Koda and Senpai Adrienne Koda, with pride, spirit, hard work, and dedication.
We believe strongly in our style of Karate and the skills we teach.  We want this to be available to anyone who wants to learn.  We feel deeply that Karate is empowering, both mentally and physically and enjoy watching (children and adults) learn how to strengthen, defend, and challenge their body and mind.
It is our sincere hope that we have helped many people learn to be confident, strong, empowered, willing to accept and conquer challenges that life presents, show respect for yourself and others, and feel strong and confident in your abilities to overcome obstacles, during and long after your Karate training has ended.
It is in this vein that we ask for your help.  The US Yoshukai Karate Honbu Dojo is coming close to paying off the mortgage on our "home" aka building, but we are not quite where we need to be.  If US Yoshukai Karate has been helpful and powerful in your life, the life of your children, or grandchildren, siblings, or spouse, please consider giving back now.  A one time gift of any amount could help us reach our financial goals for this organization.  We are hopeful that US Yoshukai Karate came into your life and made an impact during a time when you or a family member needed it.  Whether that was last week, last year, 20 years ago, or 40 years ago.  We hope you are able and willing to be there for US Yoshukai Karate now.  Your support can help the culmination of a life long dream of building ownership for the US Yoshukai Karate Association a reality.
