US Citizenship so my kids get to US

Donation protected
This is an appeal help my get US citizenship and US passports for my two youngest children -Donvan John Behrendt Leon age 7; and his sister Luna Behrendt Leon both born in Santa Cruz Bolivia to me and their mother a Bolivian citizen, Erika Leon Tintaya. My name is Adam John Behrendt and I am a US citizen who came to South American nearly 25 years ago with the US Peace Corpsamd them worked for many non-profit and voluntary organizations struggling to improve the lives of the poorest.   I had a serious accident in 2016 and was assualted leaving me unable to work all of last year; and my mother became ill in Florida and I had to return there without the children to care for her.  We have applied twice to the US Embassy here in La Paz Boivia and have been rejected twice for buearacratic reasons, each time losing our application fees.  We are now being required to submit to DNA tests which we are happy to do, but these costs 250$ each and must be done at the US embassy in La Paz.  The country is increasingly dangerouse and difficult for US citizens and our families and we just want to leave as soon as possible.  We need the funds as soon as possible as the process could take time.  The $1000 would be used for 3 DNA tests; one for myself; one for my 7 year old son; and one for my 5 year old daughter ($250/each);   as definitive proof that they are my children and qualify for US citizenship and passports then also each passport is an additional 100$ each, plus filing costs and travel to La Paz another 250$ for a total request of 1250$ but even half of that would help us so we can travel back to the US as soon as possible in order to be with my mother, as I am an only child.  This would really help me and my children as we dont have hardly any funds, I have still not found work due to my injuries, and the (security and political) situation in Bolivia is becoming increasingly dangerous.  Please help!! this small amount will make a huge different in the safety of 2 legitimate American citizens.

UPDATE APRIL 2018.  YIPEE kids DNA tests done and approved these are indeed my children and therefore American citizens.   As we danced they chanted "2 new gringos!"....next step also done passports applied for 230$ they will be here in 2-3 weeks! but a few more hoops to jump...travel permission from their mom, still broke so waiting on the sale of my house for which I have a buyer just waiting on the banks for their financing to come through and we need to buy plane tickets 1200$....even before the house sells I would like to get out of Bolivia with the kids ASAP given the tentative situation here still for Americans and me personally given past history with the government.

But a deep deep grateful thank you all for your moral and financial support I would not have been able to get this far without it.   But we are still in a bind as I am down to no money, basically nothing left to sell, and need to make it a few more weeks...bad news as moms house in florida has been declared uninhabitable as roof is collapsing so we dont as yet have a place to go to mom is looking to find somewhere so we can have a few weeks to find some cheap housing and until I get any kind of job.....so keep us in your thoughts and prayers and if you can spare another even 10$ or 20$ it would help us make it through the coming weeks waiting on passports.  If anyone has extra miles on American or one world alliance and could donate those to us for the airtickets that would be awesome.

Much Love

Adam, Donovan and Luna
