<div>Now, I’m fighting the hardest battle of my life not overseas, not in uniform, but right here at home. I’m fighting for my mother, Ursula Valle Borja, to keep her in the United States, the country she loves and has called home for over 20 years. Fighting for her is the least I could do. She supported me when I left for boot camp, when I wore my uniform with pride, and when I promised to protect this nation.

<div>Monday August 4th, she was wrongfully detained by immigration authorities. The fear and uncertainty have torn through our family. My youngest sister, Valeria, is just 15 — a minor who still needs her mother every single day. My other sister, Mia, is 19, and like me, she can’t imagine life without our mom’s love and support.

<div>To make things even more urgent, my mom suffers from serious medical conditions, including a recent brain aneurysm. She needs care, stability, and her family not to be left in a detention facility, far from the people who love her most.

<div>I have fought for this country, but now I am pleading for help from the country please. Immigration battles are expensive, and I cannot do this alone. We need funds for legal defense, medical support, and every step necessary to keep our family whole.
