Exploding Words Festivals is an educational charity based in the South West of England, dedicated to bringing the magic of literature to life for primary and secondary school children with particular focus on areas of under privilege

We bring our day-long festivals to local venues across the region, immersing students in creative workshops led by renowned authors, poets, and illustrators, sparking curiosity, boosting confidence, and empowering young minds.

the team have over ten years of experience organising and running festival days from Primary and secondary school children. We have already raised sufficinet funds to run three Festival days in 2025, reaching around 450 children. We are hoping to orgnaise one more in 2025 with the aim to doubling over the following two years.

We need funds to help us set up the strucutre of the organisation, a website, branding, insurances, training etc. Whether you can help with £5.00 or £500 you will be helping to get this ambitious charity off the ground and make a ral difference to children in Cornwall.
