Billy Joe Shaver Statue Fund

LET’S MAKE SURE THAT BILLY JOE SHAVER LIVES FOREVER!  

We are raising money to erect a life size statue of Billy, in Downtown Corsicana Texas.

Billy was born in Corsicana and spent the early years of his life 
here.  We want to create a lasting
memorial to his legacy.  We want to be sure that future generations know who this man was and what he did for the Outlaw Country Music  Movement!

The photo above is the artist’s initial rendering. The artist that we commissioned is J. Payne Lara.

Donations are tax deductible and will go to the Chamber and the
City of Corsicana. All funds raised will go toward the statue.

Any size contribution will be          appreciated.  A plaque listing each donors name will be added to the statue.
