<div>June 13th<strong> I was shot in my lung, liver, and appendix</strong> stopping in front of main arteries in a domestic violence situation. 

</div>

<div>Since this, I have been told <strong>it could be a year or longer until I can work again</strong>. Not only have I lost my independence, but <strong>I can't pay my medical bills, house bills, car payments, gas in my car, and even simple things like I can't afford hygiene products. </strong>

</div>

<div><strong>I am actively trying to get social security,</strong> I have physical therapy, occupational therapy and a nurse coming every other day to help my recovery. 

</div>

<div><strong>This has been an uphill battle affecting not only me but my family as well.</strong> After an hour and half of being shot, I arrived at the hospital immediately being rushed into truama surgery. I am so thankful I woke up the next day, although I woke up in the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. I couldn't breathe without pain or cough without screaming. I couldn't even sit up on my own or walk on my own. I went from 166 pounds to 120 pounds, I felt and looked lifeless. After two to three weeks, I was supposed to go home only to find out I had a fever of 102.9 and an <strong>infection of Ecoli</strong> it was caught so late that <strong>it was almost deadly.</strong> Immediately, I was rushed into truama surgery, having my abdomen cut back open, basically starting my physical recovery all over. After about a month in the hospital I returned home with a draining tube in my stomach that stayed in for about 3 weeks. I have had a nurse come every other day, occupational therapy and physical therapy. I slowly started to gain my independence back dressing myself, bathing myself, and going from a walker to a cane, unfortunately two weeks ago <strong>I had a ct scan uncovering 2 abscesses pushing down on my bladder and on my liver. I was told to go to the hospital for emergency surgery</strong>, so I did they put in another draining tube in my stomach to suck out the one on my bladder it was the size of a water bottle. Currently I am physically and mentally recovering from the truama and waiting for the tube to be removed. If you can donate my family and <strong>I appreciate it beyond words I have no income it's been hard focusing on my recovery with the stress of finances</strong> if you can't donate, sharing is just as important. I am trying to get media coverage. I can't thank the community enough for the support I have received, even the prayers mean the world! I will be releasing weekly updates thank you all again!
