My sister in laws dog, Jolene, was attacked by a larger dog on the evening of the 4th of July while on vacation. We took her to an emergency vet, and x-rays revealed her jaw is broken in two places. The vet has suggested Jolene have emergency surgery in the next 24 hours. She is unable to eat or close her mouth. We were given an estimate of $6,000-$10,000. Jolene is the light of our family.
