It’s almost unthinkable how you can go to bed with your best bud, your perfectly healthy dog, and find yourself across the state at 2am staring at a $12,000 vet bill to save your dogs life.

In the early hours of December 31st, this is where we found ourselves.

Our Shep/Sheppers/BoyBoy, pleading for help. A severe spinal injury/stroke/hernea unexpectedly attacked our little boy.

Shep is our special boy. Having him since I was a teen… he’s been with me (Brittany) through graduations, breakups, deaths, funerals, college, sorority gatherings, vacations, military life, 4 military PCS’s, 8 moves total, our engagement, our wedding, two pregnancies, countless trips, two postpartums, severe family trauma, laughs, love, and now all the toddler cuddles … he’s our rock. Life without him is unimaginable.

For a 10 year old boy… he’s unbelievably healthy… our vet comparing him and his physical being to the 5 year old Pomeranians she sees. She insisted we save his life. It only takes fixing his spine and keep his party going. She quickly referred us to the specialist he needs.

Out of the kindness of your hearts… can you help Shep?

Shep’s bills for his MRI (required before surgery) and surgery will fall between $10,000 - $12,000. The only way we will save our pup is with your help.

Following surgery, we will face a year of assisted potty breaks, eating, playing, etc while he heals. It’s a long road, but for our healthy boy, it’s worth it.

He saved my life. It’s time we save his.
