Hi, my name is Justine. This is a quick story. I'm an avid animal enthusiast and caretaker. On December 1st, my dog Prudence got out of my fenced-in backyard and took off around the block. Within 10 minutes, she was hit by North Branch police.

She tore two main ligaments in her back leg, so her knee will not stay in place. Considering she is an extremely active dog, the surgery is necessary. I don't have enough to pay for her surgery, so this is my only option. Prudence is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd Husky. She is sweet, neurotic, loving, and hyper. She loves to hop like a deer and bounce around her backyard. I'm hoping to see her jump again!
