Hilfe Meiner family in Gaza

Hello Everyone, my name is Sandy Sm, and I am a Palestinian Christian from Gaza, I am starting a fundraiser to save the lives of my immediate family members, I am their only hope to get out of Gaza. Please help me save my family's lives.

Right now, I have 7 immediate family members in Gaza, my parents, my sister, her husband as well and her children.

Before the Gaza War. We were a family who were living in peace and stability, my sister and I were simply striving to build our personal and professional lives, and pursuing our dreams. My parents are retired. We lived a humble, simple life but we were happy and loved our community. I traveled to Germany despite my strong attachment to my family and my homeland Palestine and my constant feeling of an urgent desire to visit them one day and see them always fine.

On October 7th, 2023 their lives were turned upside down. they found themselves caught in a long and harsh war. Since the beginning of the conflict, they have been bombarded with frantic calls demanding that they evacuate their home. my family home was targeted and destroyed and my family is homeless and displaced. We have lost everything.
It was shocking to see our dreams vanish and to flee with no hope of return. Now I have a dream for them of fleeing to any country to secure a job that guarantees my family’s future because none of life's essentials are available there anymore no water, no electricity, no medicine, no hospitals, no gas or fuel, no communication, no internet. The situation is dire, and diseases are spreading because of the conditions.
It has been over 183 days since they took refuge and shelter at the L@tin C@tholic Church and have feared for their lives every day since. they are eternally grateful for the shelter of our Church. they thought this was the safest place to take refuge, the fear became again,The church has been surrounded multiple times, targeted, and two women were killed and several others injured right before our eyes. There was nothing we could do. There is nothing we can do, but after a few days, while my parents, my sister and her kids were asleep, a bomb targeted the quarters where they were staying. This happened suddenly and without warning. My mother sustained injuries to her shoulder and arm and my dad sustained injuries to his head and they have not yet received proper medical care due to the lack of resources such as clean water and medicine.
The following are photos of our apartment after the bombing:

Yet, the church ran out of everything over a month ago, and no ambulances were allowed to enter However, northern Gaza remains a war zone, As fortunate as my family was, the famine will not spare them and the rest of the people sheltering in the Church. Like many people with immediate families in Gaza, my biggest fear is that I will lose almost everyone, as the prolonged lack of food and water will take my family, just like the lack of medical facilities that took the lives of others. No words can describe how I feel as I pray every day for my family.
After all other paths to get my family out of Gaza closed, I have come to the point where I cannot help my family on my own, and I request your help to do that.
Right now, there is a time-sensitive opportunity to get my family the necessary permits to enter Egypt. However, traveling to Egypt will cost around $35,000 for my family of seven due to the current conditions. My initial goal is to raise this amount to ensure no one gets left behind.

Another fee of $20,000 will also be used to get my family a temporary adobe in Egypt, as well as their basic needs for the next few months.
I have been paying for my parents’ medical needs. Still, as my funds are depleting, their health care may be cut off if the payments cannot continue, so I request another $10,000 for his care to continue in Cairo.
Another longer-term goal: I also request your help so my nieces and nephews can continue their studies at the schools in Cairo. There are no schools in Gaza left, and this is also a way to get them temporary visas to stay in Egypt.
While all the funds are appreciated, the most urgent thing is to get the $80,000 for travel expenses and another $20,000 to cover their living expenses for the first few months. However, my goal is $ 100,000 which will enable them to start a new, stable life for some time in Egypt we figure out the next step.
Please help me collect the application fees and travel costs for (7) people. I dream of a better life for all of us. We graciously ask that lend a helping hand as we are in desperate need and seeking refuge and safety. Your contributions can provide us with the means to rebuild our lives and offer us a glimmer of hope in these challenging times. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a profound difference for us. After facing such unimaginable hardship, we wish to live out the rest of our lives in peace. I have never asked anyone for money. However, I must do this to get them out when the opportunity arises. Therefore, I request everyone who reads this to afford them some kindness, either by donating or sharing it with folks who might be able to donate.

Thank you for your support and prayers,
