Urgent Support Needed for Brave Mum Sarah

This week Sarah has received devastating results from the regular blood testing she gets done in Greece. Her cancer markers have suddenly increased significantly since the last test. This came as a complete shock and was not expected as the last two years her treatment has been going so well.
Two years ago Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sarah immediately had a double mastectomy hoping that would be the finish of it. However when the results came back she found out that not only did she have the most aggressive type of breast cancer, but it was already in her lymph nodes and circulating throughout her body. As part of her treatment she went to America for targeted immunotherapy. This therapy was expensive and she was only able to afford it by using all her superannuation in addition to being blessed by the generosity of the community.
After receiving the news Wednesday she has had further discussions with specialist doctors overseas and it was recommended that she have more targeted immunotherapy immediately to stop it progressing.
This is something she must do and will leave just before the New Year as she cannot bear to have another Christmas away from her children.
Throughout the last two years Sarah has given her heart and soul into getting better, and her ongoing treatment has been costing around $2000 per month.
Before receiving the latest news, she and her husband Michael had already taken steps to ease the financial burden by changing the girls' school next year to the public system, and have put their house on the market. Unfortunately, the house hasn't sold yet and funds are needed immediately for this additional treatment.
The quotes from the specialists including the immediate treatment, flights, accommodation and ongoing treatment to be administered at home amount to over $95,000.
There is no help from medicare or their health care provider. After borrowings and with the help of family so far she has managed to get access to $55,000 towards this figure, but needs your help with the additional $40,000.
Those who are close to Sarah know her grit and determination to overcome the odds. She has become an inspiration to many. She hits that pavement at morning light for her daily run, however her daily regime starts long before this and her driving factor is to be here for her three beautiful young girls. Her girls need their mum for many, many years to come.
She is very blessed and thankful to her very loving and supportive husband Michael, her extended family, her wonderful network of friends, her church, and the support from the community.
She desperately needs this treatment and cannot do it without additional financial help.
