One year ago, my family and I escaped the Gaza genocide to Egypt due to a generous GoFundMe campaign. Now I am trying to fundraise for my friends who remain trapped there so they can survive.</em>

These families are enduring unimaginable hardships, struggling to survive amidst extreme resource scarcity and skyrocketing prices. We are launching this campaign to raise funds to help them secure their basic needs and rebuild their shattered lives.

<div>Sami has lost many cousins and relatives, including Hind Rajab. His home was severely damaged by Israeli bombing. He and his family were displaced for many months to southern Gaza, where they lived in tents in brutal conditions. Further compounding their distress, Sami's wife is also pregnant, facing critical shortages of water, medication, and access to prenatal care. Their 4-year-old daughter injured her arm in an Israeli airstrike. This child and her unborn sibling deserve to grow up in a safe and loving environment, not under the threat of starvation and death.

<div>Mahmoud and his family are living a true nightmare. In the same attack, Mahmoud's brother was killed and his home was severely damaged. He nearly escaped death when he was hit by shrapnel in the chest from an artillery shell.

<div>Mahmoud's family has been forcibly displaced many times during the war. Every day is a new struggle to provide food and clean water for their 3 young children. Adding to their immense challenges to survive, Mahmoud's wife is also pregnant and struggling with the lack of available water and medicine.

<div>Abdullah and his family, including three young girls and a baby boy, are facing extreme difficulty in securing food and drink. With scarce supplies and astronomical prices, every day has become a new challenge to feed their children and protect them from disease. On top of their own struggles, Abdullah is also hosting several displaced relatives whose homes were destroyed, adding an immense burden to his already strained resources. Throughout this genocide, Abdullah's sister Kefaya has been killed, his aunt Rehab, and many more relatives.
