<div><strong>Grimaldo is 57 years old.</strong> He came to the U.S. seeking asylum and was taken from his workplace. He was told someone crashed into his car, and when he went outside, ICE grabbed him. He has been in detention for almost three weeks with no one advocating for him until I found out. He has no family here and is completely alone. He is my parents’ age, and it breaks my heart to know he is suffering alone. He has chronic health conditions and needs urgent help to get out of ICE. Lawyer fees range from $2,000 to $10,000, and I need to cover upfront consultation fees and retainers. All funds will go directly to legal representation.
