Covering basic needs like rent, utilities, groceries, and childcare has become a daily struggle. On top of that, I’m trying to keep my child involved in what he loves most—football(it’s his senior year)—which has been such a bright spot in our lives. It gives them joy, structure, discipline, and a strong sense of community. But between registration fees, uniforms, and transportation to practices and games, it’s more than I can handle right now.
