I'm asking for help for a very lovely friend; she has an animal sanctuary for old and abused animals. Sadly, during the storm last year, she lost a lot of her buildings that housed a lot of the animals. People came to her aid and helped to rebuild the animal enclosures, but what she did not tell anyone was part of her roof had been hit by debris, leaving a hole in her roof and the water is getting in, she has no electricity, no lights working, this has been her situation since October last year, Elizabth is a very proud lady, she did not ask for help for herself. Sadly, she has no house insurance as she could not afford the direct debit. Just about all her money goes into keeping her charity going, making sure all the animals are taken care of. Vet bills have risen in the past year, making it hard to stay afloat. We are hoping anyone reading this can give the price of a coffee, as they every penny counts. Elizabeth works so hard sometimes up all night taking care of an animal that might have just arrived terrified not knowing if the next human they meet will hurt them, so she will pour every bit of love and compassion she can, Elizabeth never asks for anything for her self, always thinking of others first. We are hoping before winter sets in to at least get the hole in her roof fixed, as her living conditions over winter will be desperate. If you can give no matter how small, I thank you from the bottom of our heart. we are also open to offer of anyone able to do the work that would be fantastic. Thank you for taking time out to read this. Margaret x
