Urgent Repairs, We Need Your Help

Donation protected
We opened our Adoption Center in 2009. It is a wonderful and happy place that provides a safe haven for homeless pets until they go to their forever homes. On average 200 dogs and cats come to our care each month and this year alone nearly 1,600 pets have come through our doors. We take in 80% of the pets in our community and help other areas when we can. Our staff and volunteers are committed to our pets.

We have many issues that need to be fixed with our building. Some we have been expecting but have just put them off waiting for the “perfect” time for repairs, which you know there is not a “perfect” time.

Our doggie den doors are deteriorating and are becoming unsafe. Last year we hired someone to repair the doors and to repaint our dens. Unfortunately, we spent a considerable amount of money for a substandard job. We have 13 dens and seven doors need to be replaced immediately and the remaining ones as quickly as possible. We also need to replace some of our outside kennels. We have a volunteer that is going to install the doors but the cost is still going to be substantial.

We also have many outside day kennels that need to be replaced. Our clinic needs to have  plumbing rerouted before we come in to a flood. We need to replace counter tops. The air-conditioner at Purrfect Treasures, our fundraising store, is not working. We just had to replace our washer that was only a year old. These are  just a few of the issues we are having that have come at once.

We need to raise $50,000 to help with these expenses. We do not receive funding from our county although we provide such an important service to our community.  It takes $85,000 a month to run our clinic and adoptionn center. We survive on donations from wonderful folks like yourself. Please consider making a donation to help us with these repairs. We work so hard to never say no and so many are counting on us.
