Urgent Relief for Portugal's Volunteer Firefighters

My name is Angela I currently live in the USA however I was born in Portugal where many of my family members still live and where I go back every year for summer vacation. Currently Portugal is engulfed in flames where 7 people 3 of them volunteered firefighters have been killed in the line of duty and 50 others have been injured . 92% of Portugals firefighter are volunteers who practice their profession in theirs spare time .After watching the news this morning and seeing the plea for help I created this go fund to help two firehouses close to my parents house who are in dire need of water, juice, crackers , fruit , hot meals , energy bars . I will guarantee the funds from this account will reach the hands of the Bombeiros Voluntários de Oliveira Do Hospital and Bombeiros Voluntários de Lagares da Beira who are currently battling the wildfires in the neighboring cities of Portugal !

O meu nome é Angela e vivo atualmente nos EUA, embora tenha nascido em Portugal, onde ainda reside grande parte da minha família. Todos os verões regresso a Portugal para férias. Infelizmente, o país enfrenta atualmente incêndios florestais devastadores. Sete pessoas, incluindo três bombeiros voluntários, perderam a vida no cumprimento do dever e outras 50 ficaram feridas. Em Portugal, 92% dos bombeiros são voluntários, dedicando o seu tempo e energia à proteção das suas comunidades.

Depois de ver as notícias esta manhã e de ouvir o pedido urgente de ajuda, senti-me obrigado a agir. Criei este GoFundMe para apoiar dois bombeiros perto da casa dos meus pais, que precisam desesperadamente de bens essenciais como água, sumo, bolachas, fruta, refeições quentes e barras energéticas. Garanto pessoalmente que todos os fundos angariados irão diretamente para os *Bombeiros Voluntários de Oliveira do Hospital* e *Bombeiros Voluntários de Lagares da Beira*, que lutam incansavelmente contra os incêndios nas cidades vizinhas de Portugal.
